ABOUT
Located in Montreal's Mile-Ex district, Studio Madame Wood is an inspiring space that has welcomed hundreds of artists since its opening in 2014.
Our two studios (Studio A and Studio B) are available for rent. Each studio has its own dining room and bathroom.
The acoustics of Studio A are particularly well-known for drum recording sessions. Its 27 by 34 square foot room is great for live recordings with multiple musicians simultaneously. This space is also popular for video shoots and rehearsals.
Studio B, designed to meet the needs of today's music production industry, features a large control room and two booths. This space is ideal for working alone or in a small group, for "dry" sessions, or to recording a podcast in complete privacy.
For larger projects, it's possible to combine the two studios, as our control rooms are interconnected. This option allows for better isolation of certain instruments or simply provides more space.
We are also equipped to accommodate you if you need a place to stay during your recording session.
Of course, we highly recommend the services of our experienced in-house engineers. They know the studio like the back of their hand, but all independent engineers are also very welcome.
